Together with the company ECOTHERM AUSTRIA, FRESNEX enabled the integration of a 200 m2 solar field into an existing steam system.

Fresnex with the innovative technology of pre-manufactured mirror modules and ECOTHERM with the knowledge in the field of steam generation.

The system uses small stripes of mirrors to concentrate the sun onto a receiver, directly generating steam in the receiver. It sets new standards for solar roof-top systems through its light weight and easy to install mirror modules.

As of now the patented technology is available on the market. It is designed to save energy costs and reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. The main application area is the substitution of oil and gas as fuel of existing steam boilers in production companies.
